Laevie Vienna Lace Pearl & Baroque Pendant Necklace

Hundreds of freshwater seed pearls, hand-knotted into a lattice that behaves less like a necklace and more like lace made of light. At its center hangs a single baroque pearl the water shaped over years and no jeweler could replicate — the Vienna’s only ornament, and its argument.

Worn at the base of the throat, the seed-pearl lattice reads as texture from a distance and as craft up close; the baroque pendant catches lamplight in slow, irregular flashes rather than a uniform glint — the visual signature of true nacre. Against a white poplin shirt with the collar open, it does the work of an entire outfit. With a black silk slip or a bateau neckline, wear it alone; the Vienna does not layer, and does not need to.

Genuine freshwater seed pearls, hand-woven; one naturally formed baroque pendant pearl, approximately 12–15mm, with multi-tonal overtone. Care & Keeping

Pearls follow one rule above all: last on, first off. Finish your perfume, hairspray, and lotion before your jewelry touches skin, and remove it before anything else at day’s end. After each wear, pass a soft, lint-free cloth over the pearls to lift skin oils. Keep nacre clear of water, chlorine, and household chemicals, and store each piece separately in its Laevié pouch. Sterling silver revives with a gentle pass of a polishing cloth — kept away from the pearl itself. Never use ultrasonic cleaners or steam; a pearl’s structure is organic, and irreplaceable.
